The Wellspring Cooperative Corporation's mission is to create a network of worker-owned cooperatives that will provide jobs and wealth creation opportunities for low income and underemployed residents of Springfield. Wellspring works in partnership with the region's anchor institutions to meet their purchasing needs through local production, creating a market for local cooperative businesses.

The primary objective of PERC is to benefit the community by fostering increased employment opportunities and expansion of business and industry for the citizens of the area.

Pittsfield Economic Revitalization Corporation (PERC) provides direct loans, grants and access to a variety of public loan programs to help businesses in the City of Pittsfield, and offers several programs to assist entrepreneurs locating or expanding businesses in Pittsfield and Berkshire County.
