PERC’s mission is to further the economic development and social welfare of the City of Pittsfield and Berkshire County and promote and assist the growth and development of business concerns, including small business concerns in Pittsfield and Berkshire County. The primary objective of PERC is to benefit the community by fostering increased employment opportunities and expansion of business and industry for the citizens of the area.
Pittsfield Economic Revitalization Corporation (PERC) provides direct loans, grants and access to a variety of public loan programs to help businesses in the City of Pittsfield, and offers several programs to assist entrepreneurs locating or expanding businesses in Pittsfield and Berkshire County.

In addition to the programs identified above, and to provide more specificity, please note that PERC administers the following programs: Small business assistance includes business coaching, consulting, technical assistance grants, and lending. Community programs include mentoring and educational opportunities, as well as assistance to municipalities.
