Worcester Comm. Housing Resources, Inc.

WCHR’s mission is to create and preserve quality, affordable home-ownership and rental housing and to initiate and support neighborhood revitalization in the greater Worcester area. Since 1993 the organization has developed projects that address the housing needs of diversified populations. It also has invested its Community Loan Fund capital to provide necessary resources to low-income homeowners for home repairs and maintenance; to help meet the financial needs of other affordable housing developers; and to finance the responsible management of abandoned property through the Receivership program. WCHR seeks to promote healthy communities throughout the City of Worcester and Greater Worcester County. It targets its services to low and moderate income households.
